S. C, HILDRETH TO RACE AT PIMLICO. New York, March 27. Samuel C. Hildroth, owner of the most powerful racing stable in America, has decided to prepare his horses for the meeting of the Maryland Jockey Clubs course at Pimlico. At the end of that meeting, if the courts or legislature of this state give no relief to turfmen, Mr. Hildreth will ship his entire hand of stake winners to England, where they will go under the hammer. Mr. Hildreth says that if he is compelled to take this step he will race his horses temporarily in England to demonstrate their superiority to prospective purchasers. The champion race horse, Fitz Herbert, a son of Ethelbert Morganatic, is in prime condition for his preparation, and as he is absolutely sound there is every reason to believe that he will show his former splendid form and race on indefinitely. King James, the greatest son of Plaudit, never looked better. He Is a decidedly nigged horse. Novelty, the winner of last years Futurity at Saratoga and other events of importance, went into winter quarters as sound as a bell. - Royal Meteor. Zeus, Kormak, Hampton Court, Joe Madden, Eddie Dugan. Montgomery, Restigoucbe and Firestone are all in line condition. The last named I.? doing handsomely in his work and lie will undoubtedly come to hand early. Fayette is goinsr soundly and Mr. Hildreth is confident lie will stand the training ordeal.
