Tho latter finished with a rush. YAN-KBELOTUS was pulled up at the start. W. H, FORD made up ground and finished well. PLIANT showed a llash of early speed. . M VKTLK MARION, a forward contender from the start, finished resolutely under a hard drive and, out-gaining LYDIA LEE, won drawing clear. LYDIA LEE showed much speed in the going and closed a gap, lint tired after disposing of LA REBELLE and DANISH G1BL. The latter ran well and was hard ridden all the way. GUNS HILL closed a big gap and finished with a rush. MASON ran fairly well, but tired. LA REBELLE quit after setting the pace to the stretch. Scratched 03175 Blossom, 101. HOLHBERG, favored by the going, moved up on the outside witli a rush while rounding the far turn and, after taking an easy lead, was taken under restraint and was only cantering at tho end. FRANK PURCELL ran well, but was much used in following BABBLER closely and was tiring at the finish. SCRIMMAGE finished fast and gamely after being taken wide on the home turn. BABBLER set the pace, but tired after going a half mile in the lead. MILTON B. closed a gap and tired. MISS NETT was off badly and never prominent. PLATE GLASS stumbled and went to his knees at the start and was then taken up on the outside and closed a big gap, lint tired in the last sixteenth. TOM HAYNVARD ran in closast early pu? sidt. but piit in the homestretch. ELLA BRYSON ran well for three-quarters and tired. The others were beaten off. CAPTAIN SNVANSON ran iu closest early pursuit, .but swerved over to the inside at the furlong post and was driving hard at the end to outstay VON LAER. The latter ran well and finished gamely.
