OVERMAN was Speedy, but tired in the stretch drive and may have been short. FLAMMA closed a gap and finished fast. RILL LAMR ran fairly well, but tired. The others ran green. DR. HEARD was much used in racing: with AVOODLIGHT-XING and then with OSAGE and tired In the last furlong. OSAGE went well, but both of his stirrup leathers broke during the race and his rider could not help him afterwards. BLACK BRIDGE was undoubtedly short and not up to a race. The latter set the pace fast, but tired after going six furlongs and Is probably a nori-stayer. SANDHILL was cut off at the start and a trailer throughout. COMPTON ran below his true form.
