MR. BELMONT WINS IN ENGLAND. London, Eng., April 1,1. At the Leicester Spring Meeting today the Worksop Maiden Plate of 102 sovereigns, for all ages, at live furlongs, was won by August Belmonts- three-year-old chestnut colt, Sand of the Orient, by Rock Sand Orienta, with W. L. Sparkmans three-year-old chwstnut colt, Henry Potts, second, and Mr. Cranfords three-year-old brown colt, Polynices, third. Ten.horses started.
