STILL HOPEFUL OF NEW ORLEANS. New Orleans. La.. April 13. The Crescent City Jockey Club directors, in the belief that there is still a chance for the restoration of racing in New Orleans under the pari-iuutuel system, decided at its annual meeting last evening to renew their lease of the Fair Grounds. No ollicial statement was given out as to the action taken, lint one of the directors said that they believed that racing, with the bookmakers eliminated, would lie restored. The dub has been paying a rental of 0,000 per year on the Fair Grounds property.
