AUTO MAID, off forwardly, raced BILL LAMB into defeat ill the first quarter and, drawing away into an easy lead on the far turn, held her own and easily outstayed INWOOD. The latter closed a big gap and finished resolutely. BAIT wore the tiring BILL IAMB down for third place in the last sixteenth. The latter lau a 0od quarter and tired unexpectedly. The latter was ridden a good race until it came to near the finish, where her rider let go her head at a critilcal moment and she stumbled.
