PENSACOLA MEETING TO CLOSE TODAY. x Ponsaeola. Fla.. April 17. Dandy Dancers victory in the fourth race was attended by a good deal of jjrumbling, due to a seeming lack of effort on the part of some of the riders in the race. Bat Master-sons glaring form reversal was another aggravating feature of todays racing. The judges, failed to take any disciplinary action in either case. Ladies day and the near close of the meeting helped to swell todays attendance. The supposed wise sot fared badly, through the defeats of Brown Tony, Lucky Mate and Dander. J. A. Strode purchased today Horicon at private terms and will race him on the Kentucky tracks. Following the close of racing tomorrow several cars of horses will be shipped to Lexington and Louisville. Others will go to Marlboro, Mil., .to await the opening of racing at that place.
