PROTEST AIMED AT TOD SLOAN. Paris, France. April 17. The committee of the Society for the Encouragement of Racing in France, to which was referred the protest of Charles Pfizer against the horse Chestruvin on the ground that Tod Sloan, who is not licensed, had trained the animal, ,has decided that there was no ground for the protest. The committee declared Rossadams, not Sloan, was the trainer. Chestruvin won two races from ITtzers Padoue at Nice a,nd the American owner lodged a protest with the local racing authorities on the ground stated above. The Nice authorities referred the question to the Jockey Club hue for decision.
