PENSACOLA MEETING TO CONTINUE. Pensacola. Fla.. April IS. Decision was reached late this afternoon to continue the meeting here at least until Saturday. This was done after the horsemen had presented a petition asking for a continuance and expressing a willingness to race for smaller purses. The management thought well of the plan, as they figure they will not- lose anything by going on uuder decreased operating cxpenes. The rule from now on will be to have five races daily, to which a total sum of ?40Q. will bo added. Entries for touiinorrows racing were tnade during the afternoon following the announcement of the extension. Judge Brown announced today the reinstatement of the horses Carew, Dr. Mollis and Sweet Owen, the period of. their suspension being for the fifteen days that racing was to have been held here.
