ANACONDA HAS SOME REVERSALS. Anaconda, Mont., August 2S. Righeasy, heavily backed, was returned winner of the feature race of the afternoon before a crowd of generous proportions. Form, however, was somewhat at a discount, only two of the favorites scoring, while outsiders hart an inning. The victories of Sir Angus and Billy Myer were distinct reversals as compared with their recent races and caused much unfavorable comment. Billy Myer, which on the occasion of his last previous start, made a wretched showing as a topheavy favorite, witli jockey Buxton up, was differently ridden today by Corey, who took him to the front at once and made every post a winning one. Selling race activities were again indulged in. W. S. Heath bidding up Marie Hyde, winner of the first race, to 00 and lecame her owner. W. B. arson retaliated by Tunning- up Force, to 1911.sh05. at which price he was retained by Mr. Heath. The riding honors of the day were divided between jockeys Corey and McEwen, each of whom scored a double.
