LATONIA AUTUMN STAKES TO CLOSE. In the stakes offered by the three Kentucky racing organizations owners and trainers have an opportunity for profitable employment of their horses but scantily vouchsafed in these days. The Latonia Jockey Club makes a tender of six events to bo run at their approaching autumn meeting that should receive the nomination of every good horse in the west, to say nothing of their obvious attractiveness to eastern owners. They are the following: For Three-Year-Olds and Over. The Endurance Handicap, ,000 added. 2 miles. Latonia Autumn Inaugural Handicap, ,500 added, 1 1-10 miles. Criterion Handicap, ,000 added, 3-4 mile. Kentucky Handicap, ,000 added, 1 mile and 70 yards. For Two-Year-Olds. Rosedale Stakes, selling, ,000 added, 0 1-2 furlongs. Fort Thomas Handicap, ,000 added. 3-4 mile. Entries close Saturday. September 2. and should be addressed to General Manager John Hachmelster, Covington, Ky.
