RICH STAKES TO CLOSE FOR ENTRIES. The main event of the coming Louisville meeting, the Kentucky Endurance Stakes, at four miles, has already closed with a gratifying entry list of the best stayers now in training, but a list of six other events remains to close for entries Saturday, September 2, that should be generously patronized by all owners.
