MARLBORO MEETING ABANDONED, The meeting scheduled to open at Marlboro, Md., the coming Wednesday under the auspices of tho Southern Maryland Racing Association, has been abandoned as a result of tho recent destruction of the grandstand by lire. It is among the possibilities that the plant will be rehabilitated for a meeting in November, when there would le little racing lit other parts of the country to compete with.
