THIRTY LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS. The chief effect of last weeks racing on the standing of the leading jockeys was the further reduction of the slender margin by which T. Koerner is heading the list. Roomers showing in the saddle continues amazingly poor for a boy who previously showed such skill. It seems hard to believe that since August 1 he has ridden only one winner out of sixty mounts yet such is the case. McCahey, who is a close second, seems destined to assume the "lead shortly unless there is a sudden improvement In Koerners riding. He is only five winning mounts behind. The; record of the thirty leaders from January 1 to and including the racing of Saturday last follows: Jockey. Mts. 1st. 2d. 3d. Unp. P.C.L.W.
