GARRY was outrun to the stretch turn, from where he came fast on the outside and, finishing gamely, got up to win in the closing stride. JIISS WIGGS ran well, but tired after disitosing of CALIPH and ANNAGH. CALIPH took the lead and drew away on the turn out of the baekstretch, then tired and swerved over to lie outside. SHELBY was slmllled back on the first turn, then sulked. BELFAST ran forward-, but tired in the stretch. HENRY JIUNRO showed early speed. RINGJIASTER, a safe fencer, showed the most speed and easily disposed of LAJIPBLACK in the last turn of the field The latter moved up gamely while going the second time around, but tired in the last half. J. C. EWALT jumped well, but lacked speed. LAOJIEDON fell at the fourth fence and VIRGINIA CREEPER stumbled over him. ST. ALOYSIUS and SIR WATSON lost their riders at the tenth jump.
