as n Q w P J l EXPECTS NO SALE AT PRESENT. New York, October 13. Philip J. Dwycr is quoted follows concerning the report that the Gravescnd track is to be sold for residential purposes: "Streets are gradually being opened adjacent to the Gravescnd track, and it is only a question of time when the valuation of the plant will bo such that the stockholders will naturally dispose of their i holdings. The property could probably be bought now, but who would pay the price " ! Concerning the immense Aqueduct course, in Queens County, Mr. Dwycr is of the opinion that It will remain intact as a racecourse as long as any other on Long Island or even In the. State. With legislation not as drastic as the present laws, racing will be revived in the Empire State, and the Queens County Jockey Club will be one of the foremost to announce a program of merit for races to le run over its mile and a quarter track.
