JUDGES CHANGE JOCKEYS IN WEST. Spokane, Wash.. October 14. Pride of Lismore won the Speed Handicap at Coeur dAlene this afternoon in a furious drive with Terns Trick and Dr. Dougherty. Terns Trick had 124 pounds up and it told on him right at the end. as he faltered slightly just before reaching the finish. The judges substituted E. McEwen for Mulligan on the winner at the last moment and also changed the rider of Usceit from Rosen to Pickens. This was done in view of the alarming manner in which these horses receded iu the letting, coupled with a lessening of the odds on Terns Trick. The attendance was large and exceedingly enthusiastic. Fore Guard romped home by himself today, his nice and the ride lie received being in sharp contrast to his previous efforts when ridden by Mon-tlon, who was suspended at the time and only, allowed to ride for his contract employer in future.
