SYZYGY ran close up in a good position to the stretch, then movel up with a rush and won drawing clear. DUKE OF BRIDGEWATER showed the most early speed and held on resolutely to the end. DOLLY BULTMAN ran well, but tired from strenuous racing with LADY SYBIL. DR. BARKLEY seemingly could not gat to going freely until in the stretch, then came on fast. FROGLEGS was pinched off at the start, but recovered quickly and moved into the lead on the far turn after making up ground on the outside and drew away easily in the stretch. FIRBAL dropped fnr back after the start, but closed a big gap and, finishing with a great burst of sieed, took second place in the final strides. STAR JASMINE ran -well, but tired finally from hard racing witli LADY McGEE. The latter set a fast early pace and tired in the stretch. DUAAL was pinched off and knocked out of his stride at the start and could never make up the lost ground. OQQ7fi THIRD RACE About 2 1-2 Miles. FORCE had a rough race and was knocked about in the early running, hut finished fast and would have won in a few more strides. RASH showed improvement and early speed and held on well in the final drive. CORINTH loomed up on the last turn and tired iu the stretch. LOUISE AVELLES ran moderately well.
