BWANA TUMBO set the early pace and tired after going a fast half. TURBINE was a forward and game contender all the way, but was outpaced by the first two. ASTROLOGER ran fairly well. The latter was a close contender from the start and finished fast and resolutely. BOUNDER ran forwardly throughout, hut below his best form. BILLY VANDERVEER was off poorly and made up some ground, but was never a dangerous contender. SUPERVISOR ran fairly well. FEATHER DUSTER showed early speed. SWEEPAWAY ran well after a long retirement and made a fast and game finish. THEO COOK showed great speed and set a terrific pace, but tired in the deciding drive. WOODCRAFT was outpaced early, but came with a rush In the stretch and easily passed the tiring CASTANIA. The latter ran fairly well. DINNA KEN showed speed and was pulled up when lie bled.
