QUEEN BEE, evidently an extra good mud runner, drew away into a decisive lead in the first quarter and only cantered the remainder of the way. DIPPER ran well and shook off CHRISTMAS DAISY in the houicstretcb. The latter was always prominent, but was tiring at the end and just lasted long enough to outfctay GOLDEN CLUSTER. PENNYROYAL ran forwardly and gamely throughout and outstaved MISS MOMENTS for second place. The latter tired after running ia closest pursuit to the stretch. SEWELL ran fairly well. FEATHER DUSTER began slowly and dropped back in the first quarter, then closed a big gap, but was tiring in the last furlong. OUTLAN outbroke the others and set the pace, but tired after going a half mile. MICHAEL ANGELO ran well to the stretch. HUSKY LAD ran poorly.
