JUAREZ PATRONAGE CONTINUES PROMISING. Rey Hindoo Takes Handicap at Mexican Course in Hard Drive with Winning: Widow and Oxer. El Paso, Tex., December 2. Roy Hindoo won the handicap at Juarez this afternoon, defeating Winning A idow and Oxer in a drive that lasted tor over a furlong and gaining the decision by a neck. This was the feature of an otherwise ordinary card. Ihe attendance was excellent and far in excess of the corresponding days in preceding seasons. Iwo bookmakers failed to draw in today. John Morris and F. Frankel being the absentees. This reduces the ring to seven books, besides a llelder and the combination outfit. Starter Cassidy lias placed the following horses on the schooling list: Meadow, Chapultepec. Pride of Lismore, Napa Nick. Vauir, Free, Nyanza and Coppertown. A few trials at the barrier will doubtless prove benellcial to them. J. Cuneo arrived today from the north with Whid-den. J. F. Newman, one of the oldest -and most extensive breeders of Texas, made his appearance today for the tirst time this season. J. T. Strite arrived with live horses from Oklahoma. He has Lescar, Swede Sam, Pops and two others. Jockey J. Callahan was suspended for five days by the stewards for rough riding. He interfered with Rey Hindoo in the stretch while riding Oxer.
