bROWNLEIGH PARK MARES GO TO CANADA. New York, December 21. Grant nugh Browne, who raced many good horses on the llat and" crosscountry in the prosperous days of racing, today shipped five mares aud two yearling fillies to Canada. The consignment will go to Sir William J. Cuff of Toronto. The majority of the mares are in foal to King Cobalt, a son of Cesarion and Estello Whitney that was a frequent winner In handicaps and stake events on metropolitan courses. Beckon, one of the mares destined for breeding purposes across the border, won the Astoria Stakes at Gravesend. Lady Rosalie, br. f, 3, by Handspring Lady Slavey, by St. Serf. Miss Dooley, ch. f, 3, by Griffon Capricious, by Vagabond. Tender and True, br. m, G, by Sir Dixon Purity, hv Deceiver.
