john McClelland dies in California. Iexington, Ky., December 21. John McClelland, a"ed sixty-two, eldest brother of the late Byron jfcClelland, and a native of Lexington, died last night at his home in Arcadia. California. John McClelland was, like Byron, a trainer of thoroughbreds but lie never attained the success that was his younger brothers good fortune. John McClelland trained for James A. Grinstead in Kentucky and in California, for many years he was with "Lucky" Baldwin. Wallace McClelland, a surviving brother, resides near Lexington.
