MISPRISION began slowly, but came from behind steadily and finally outgamed MINNOLBTTE at the end. MIXNOLETTE showed the most speed and set the pace to the last furlong, but tired in the final drive. BEN UNCAS ran a good race and finished gamely under a weak ride. CHARLES GREEN was bumped b:uk when going well and made a fast finish. VIRGINIA LINDSEY showed speed. SUGAR LUMP quit. KOOTENAY took the lead quickly and, setting the pace all the way, stood a hard final drive gamely. LADY MACY was best and, with a stronger rider up, would have won, came from far hack on her own courage and almost got up. YO SOLO ran a good race for five . furlongs and tired. SAM CONNOR was far back for the first half, but closed up with a great burst of speed in the stretch and was gaining fast at the finish. McALAX ran forwardly to the stretch and quit badly. SHEEHAN was cut ofT early and closed a big gap, then tired. FANEUIL HALL ran a fairly good race. GILBERT ROSE and PRUDENT showed speed. ROY JUNIOR joined LEOPOLD on the b-ckstretch and raced head and head "with him to the end but, in a persistent effort, could never quite get up. PIT A-PAT ran well, but finished a distant third.
