George Snyder, who owns largo cement works at Spokane and who has been here since the opening of the meeting, purchased Rey Hindoo and Americus for ,000 this morning. He profited handsomelv by the win of Rey Hindoo. Allan Potter of Sandusky, Ohio, arrived here today. Sir. Potter raced a string here during the past two seasons and it is his intention to gather a few horses and race again this season. Jockey Willis was suspended by the stewards for fifteen days for striking jockey Gross, on Salvage, with his whip in the fifth race. Rompie, while wanning up for the sixtli race, ran away the reverse way of the track. Running through a gap in the fence, he severly injured himself.
