CHURCHILL DOWNS STAKES ANNOUNCED Kentucky Endurance Stakes Estimated Value 15000 Heads List of Four Fall Events Louisville Ky July 12 It is announced that August 1 has been selected for the closing of the stakes to be offered the coining fall by the font racing associations of Kentucky to which the Ken ¬ tucky State Hacing Commission recently allotted dates for fall meetings Secretary Lyman H Davis of the New Louisville Jockey Club is first in the field with an announcement of that organizations stuke list The Kentucky Endurance Stakes four miles the estimated value of which is set at 15000 is of course the headliner It will be decided on the opening day of the Churchill Downs meeting October 7 The other stakes to be run during the nine days meeting at Churchill Downs will all carry a value of 1000 added and will be as follows followsFalls Falls City Handicap threequarters of a mile for threeyearolds and over overCherokee Cherokee Selling Stakes one and onesixteenth miles for threeyearolds and over overGolden Golden Rod Selling Stakes threequarters of a mile for twoyearolds
