Mich July 12 With the people of DH troit hungry for racing the lirst meeting of the Windsor Fair Grounds and Driving Park Associa ¬ tion for the season of 1012 promises to be highly successful Interest in the sport in this locality has been constantly growing during the past few years and the local club has kept up with the timed by remodeling its plant The immense grandstand that was formerly at the Grosse Point course has been moved across the river and reerected at Wind ¬ sor This gives the Windsor track the largest and most uptodate grandstand and betting ring iti Canada Uverytbing has been fully completed and the plant is in readiness for tomorrows opening which brilliancyThe promises to be of exceptional brilliancy The club has furnished a splendid program of seven races with the Frontier Stakes a handicap at one mUe and an eighth as the feature Addi ¬ tional attractions are a steeplechase over the two mile course and an allowance race at six furlongs which will bring together some of the best sprinters on groundThe the ground The weather man has promised bright skies for to ¬ morrow and with the track In splendid condition a recordbreaking crowd probably
