BURLINGAME LEADS THE JOCKEYS. The deadlock which has been existing among leaders in the American jockey list for the year was broken last week with the result that Bur-lingnme now has a distinct, though not great, lead over Buxton and Groth for the years honors. The riding of Kederis. who is now looming up as a dangerous contender for the championship, was a feature of the weeks racing. By piloting eight winners at Churchill Downs he advanced to fourth place and is within striking distance of the leaders.
