J. B. HAGGINS WEANLINGS. Lexington, Ky., October 20. At James B. Hag-glus great Elmendorf Farm near this city there have just been weaned from their dams eighteen thoroughbred foals of this year. There are seven wits and eleven fillies and they represent the smallest crop of their breed that Hr. Haggln has owned in many, many years. George Miller, who is in charge of the thoronglibreds at Elmendorf, and who came to Kentucky with the Haggin horses when the transfer was made from the famous Rancho del Paso in California, says lie does not recall that there were ever so few young thoroughbreds owned by Mr. Haggin since he lias been a breeder of running horses. But they are a good-looking lot and the list is as follows: Chestnut colt by Watercress Pearl V., by Sal-vator. Brown colt by Waterboy Euterprize, by Bath-ampton. Black colt by Waterboy Colonial, by Trenton. Brown colt by Waterboy Yvonctte, by Salvator. Brown colt by Waterboy Star, by Star Ruby. 15a- colt by Galveston Lychee Nut, by Sir Mo-dred. Bay colt by Xtnr Ruby Sobriquet, by Toddington. Brown filly by Watercress Ogolala, by Isidor. Bay filly by Waterboy Hamburg Belle, by Hamburg. Bay filly by Waterboy Siloqnoy, by Midlothian. Brown filly by Galveston Pliida, by Onondaga. Brown filly by Galveston Squedaddle, by Watercress. Bay filly by Goldfinch Clara J., bv Watercress. Bay filly by Star Ruby Muriel, by Watercress. Bay tilly by Star Ruby Rossanna, bv Sir Modred. Broun tilly by Hessian Midrica, by .Midlothian. Brown filly bv Toddington Pompadoura, bv Emperor of Norfolk. Bay tilly by la lveston Sweet Lavender, by Goldfinch. The star of the collection probably is the Pearl V. colt, lie has a stripe down the face and two white legs, and leoks much like Salvator did. The largest and grandest looking of the fillies is the daughter of Ogolala. The Colonial colt is a half-.brother to Hessian aud Is. the image of Waterboy, Ills sire, now dead. The Enterprise colt, a half-brother to Cressbrook. a winner in England, is a big colt. Stars colt Is also a big one. The Yvon-ette colt is a fair one. The daughter of Hamburg Belle is not as largo as the one out of Ogolala, but she Is a grand looking filly. The horses at Elmendorf are all in good heath and condition.
