LORETTA DYYER went to the front with a rush and, drawing away into a long lead, won all the way and was eased up at the finish. LACE was away first and ran well, but was easily outrun by the winner all the way. GARDEN OF ALLAH closed a big gap and finished fast. KAYDEROSEROS began slowly and tired after racing up into forward contention. VENETLVN quit after running a good half mile. SUPERINTENDENT ran on the outside of UNDAUNTED all the way. but finished gamely and got up to win in the final stride after being forced wide when entering the homestretch. UNDAUNTED showed a good turn of speed in the going and finished resolutely, but tired in the last sixteenth. GALLOP closed a big gap from a slow start and was catching the leaders with every stride. CHEMULPO outran the others to the first turn and drew away into a long lead, but was tiring at the end and had to be hard ridden to outstay SPELLBOUND. The latter ran well and. finishing resolutely, was catching the leader with every stride. BRANDO could never get up and was a distant third. FRED MULHOLLAND made a wide turn into the homcstretch, then bolted through the fence at the eighth post and fell. The winner, entered for 00, was bid up to ,100 and sold to F. E. Brown. FLYING YANKEE began slowly and was forced to work his way up on the outside, but wore NELLO down while rounding the far turn, then tired somewhat after passing her on the stretch turn and taking a decisive lead. FEATHER DUSTER closed a gap with a rush and finished fast and gaining. RIGHTEASY ran gamely and saved ground all the way, but tired in the last sixteenth. NELLO set the pace .to the stretch and quit. HUDAS BROTHER ran forwardly throughout, but tired badly in the homestretch and just lasted long enough to outstay FOOL O FORTUNE. The latter dosed a gap in the last quarter and finished with a rush. RINGMARSIIAL ran well to the homestretch and tired. J. B. MAYLOW quit after setting the pace to the stretch. The latter moved up with a rush on the outside on the far turn and tired when straightened out In the homestretch, but came again in the last sixteenth and almost got up to win. MERRY LAD ran wide all the way. but ran a good race and was going fastest at the end. STAIRS closed a big gap in the last half. FATHEROLA ran a good three-quarters and quit.
