GERTRUDE 15. raced to the front with a rush and, setting a fast pace, only succumbed right, at the end. DOCTOR GATLIN ran well and finished gamely. .MEX ran wide on the stretch turn, as also did IDA. SHORTY NORTHCUT made up ground in the last quarter and finished with a rush. JUDGE DENTON II. alsr, came fast in the stretch. ADOLANTE ran fairly well. EDDIE MOT"!1 quit badly after making the pace to the stretch. ARAGONESE ran a good three-quarters. VIREO raced forwardly throughout and, in a game effort, was gaining slowly at the end. FREDA JOHNSON finished fast. IIANNIS closed a big gap. SADIE SHAPIRO tired. CALETHUMPIAN ran poorly. TOM MURPHY ran a good race and finished fast and close up. IlOLBEIIG was a prominent contender all the way. ADMIRALS DAUGHTER set the pace to the last eighth and tired.
