SCHORR HORSES DOING WELL IN TRAINING. Louisville, Kv., March 23. The horses quartered at Douglas Park are fully several weeks in advance of those at Churchill Downs in preparation for the approaching season. Track conditions are partially accountable for this, as the former track, being sandy, dries out much faster. In looks and forward condition John W. Schorr.s large string of racers apiiear best. Leochares is a grand looking horse this year. Star Charter, once the pride of the stable and admired so much by the public, also looks as if lie would be a factor in any race in which he starts. The two-year-olds of the stable are all that could be desired in point of breeding and conformation. Old Rosebud seems to have grown in height and looks like a sturdy horse that will be a contender both in long and short races during 1014. The pride of Churchill Downs is George J. Ijong s horse Ralph. He is beautifully developed has a fine disposition and, having shown a desire for any kind of going and willing to run in front or come from behind, looks like a prominent contender for this -vears honors. Mr. Long has a number of thrce-vcar-olds and two-year-olds that look well anrl should show in this years contests what good breed ing will produce. . , , , John E.
