CONN AUGHT .PARKS SPRING PROGRAM. Ottawa, Ont., March 23. The stake hook for the Connaught Park Joceky Clubs spring meeting has made its appearance. Over 5,000 will be dis- I tributed in stakes and purses during the Connaught Park meeting. June 10 to 2:;. .Manager Rohrbach, who has just returned from a trip through western Ontario, was gratified by his reception bv prominent horsemen. He states that the entire "stables of Harry Giddings. J. E. Seagram aud Robert Davics will be here for the spring meeting. Trophies have been presented by Hon. Cliflord Sifton, F. W. Calling and President II. B. Mc-Givern for overnight races to be ruu during the meeting. These will be valued at 00 and outlined in the Itook of conditions, which will provide for seven races daily. His Royal Highness, the Duke of Comialight will favor the club with his attendance each day. if possible, and will be invited to present some of" the cups aud the Merchants Stakes, which will be presented in gold to the owner of the winner. In addition to the usual events, there will be one steeplechase each day of the value of 1914.sh00.
