Martin Nathanson, who is to serve as racing secretary for the Charleston Fair and Racing AssoCia- . tiou during the thirty-day meeting, to bo held at Palmetto Park beginning December 2, has returned to Chicago from a conference With Fred Aucrbach, ; general manager of the meeting, and announces that the stake list for the meeting will be made up as follows: , Christmas Handicap, value ,300, for all ages; one mile. New Year Handicap, value ,300, for all ages; one mile and an eighth. St. John Hotel Selling Stakes, value ,200, for two-year-olds; five and one-half furlongs. Argyle Hotel Selling Stakes, value ,200, for all : ages; six furlongs. Charleston Hotel Selling Stakes, value ,200, -for all ages; one mile and seventy yards. Secretary Nathanson announced that 00 would be the minimum purse value and that special races carrying values of 00 and 00 would be provided daily. The riug will be conducted on the open plan, under the management of Mortimer Mahoney. The stakes will close November 7. The oliicials for the meeting are as follows: Stewards C. H. Pettiugill, J. B.
