NEW ORLEANS TRACK NOW READY. New Orleans. La., November 19. Judge Joseph A. Alurphy will arrive here from St. Louis Saturday niglit and on .Monday assume complete control of the plans for the winter race meeting at the Fair Grounds track. Eugene Pearce and At. Alichaelis. the track committee, amiounccd today that the track was in condition and could be made ready if tlie meeting was to open tomorrow. The grandstand has been painted, the fences bolstered up and whitewashed, the staLs cleaned aud the place brightened up generally.
