MARTIN CASCA was much used in forcing the pace and tired in the-final ttiides. DAKOTA ran well and finished gamely. HOLLAND quit when challenged after showing the most early speed and setting the pace to the last eighth. LITHAUER made up ground and was running fast at the end. CHASER showed speed. FLY IIOMIi ran well and easilv disposed of STAR OF LOVE in the homestretch. The latter came wide into the stretch and tired after sliowiug a good turn of speed. AALAS closed a gap.
