DETAILS OF TOMMY KNIGHTS DEATH. El Paso. Tex., December S. It transpires that Tommy Knight, former colored jockey, who lose his life near Sweetwater, Tex., recently, was at first buried as an unknown and that his body was exhumed for Identification by order of jockey J. Loftus, whom he was serving as valet. It will be recalled that when the Latoula racing special arrived here several weeks ago, Loftus missed his negro servant and asked the authorities to aid in finding him. Later it was ascertained that Knight had left or fallen off the racing special near Sweetwater, Tex. He walked back to the station aud appeared half clad and in a dazed condition and walked away. Later the liody of the negro who had been killed by the train was found along the right of way near Sweetwater. There was nothing to show his Identity and he was buried. Later the sheriff at Sweetwater was informed of the disappearance of Knight, and last Thursday the body was exhumed and Identified.
