CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF. John Coyle, who has trained the horses of Miss Chatiblet successfully for several years, has o|ienod a public stable at Belmont Fare. chupadero is still in trainer Coyles charge. Iron Mask is back in Mose Goldblatts stable Jefferson Livingston has turned the horse over to his former trainer to do witli it what he can. Gold-blatt intends to give him a good rest before racing him again, and will likely take him along to Juarez with his stable. The Newmarket second Oetolter meeting opened in England Tuesday. The principal event was the running of the Champion Stakes of ,090, which was won by Mr. E. Hultons filly. Silver Tag. by Sund-ridg - -Silver Fowl, with another three year-old. Col. Hall Walkers Let Fly. second, and the four-year -old Black Jester, owned bv Mr. J. B. Joel, third. With the running of the second days program of the IMpIng Rock Racing Association al Locust Valley Tuesday afternoon the most brilliant season of racing since Charles E. Hughes clamped down the lid on the s|Hirt ended so far as New York state is concerned. A Jovous. optimistic crowd of ::. t0 persons, made up of the best element that supports the sport of kings, gathered to bid adieu to the thoroughbreds under the most enjoyable weather conditions. Although it was an ameteur meeting there were many out-and-out professionals among the throng that paraded in the shady paddock and watched the racing from the knoll overlooking the course.
