GOOD HOBSES RACE IN BOUMANIA. New York. December 24. — W. Wiley, one of the American jockevs who has made good in Europe, arrived here yesterday on the Rotterdam. He has l-i-i-u iliing in Itoiiii-ani.-i for the past four years and headed the winning jockey li.-l each racing season. In speaking of horses in thai country he savs there is a five-year-old hot-e named Zoridise, which has started 21 times and won u|*ii every occasion. Oa the occasion of his last race he" car- ried HK iHiunds over a mile and a half. Prior to this he had won the Roumanian Derby as a three-year-old and the Jockey Club Stakes three years in succession. Wiley has a contract to return to Roumaiiia where he rides for Mr. Marghiloman, but may remain in this country and accept mounts. He reminds one of Joe McCahey and can ride at alKiut ninety pounds. Jefferson Livingston is spending a few days in this city. He and a party of about twenty friends will leave Chicago for Havana toward the latter part of January. Among those who will take the trip are Charles MeCullocb. John R. Thompson. William Stewart. CTiarles E. Davis and Mr. Mc-Namara. Joseph C. Yeagers colors will lie seen on the local courses next year. He tias three yearlings and one or two other horses in the hands of Bob Campbell.
