WATER LAI raced gamely aud was on the outside of the leaders for the entire way. FORD MAI closed a gap. TIGF.R JIM quit after racing in nearest pursuit to the last eighth. RUSTIC MAID was used in forcing the pace and tired, but held on tenaciously. DAKOTA quit in the last sixteenth after setting the pace to the stretch. SlNGITDF. ran well throughout. PAGE WHITE set the early pace, but quit badly in the stretch. Overweights— Tamerlane. 1 pound.
