J. N. CAMDEN IS ELECTED PRESIDENT. Lexington. Ky.. February 20. — I-onier United States Senator Johnson N. Camden, chairman of the Kentucky State Racing Commission and master of Hartlaml Stud, at a special meeting of the directors today was elected president of the Kentucky AssiH-iation t.. laceeed Catesby Woodford, resigned. Senator Camden was nominated by Arthur P.. Han cock aud Vice-President Overton H. Chenault was nominated by Hal Price Headlev. Messrs. Hancock. John G. Stoll and G. I. "Wilson voted for Mr. Camden while Messrs. lleadley. T. . McDowell aud A. 15. Gallaher voted for" Mr. Chenault. The vote was a tie and Mr. Chenault. who was presiding, unhesitatingly voted for Senator Camden, who yesterday left for Hot Springs. Ark. J. O. Keenc today leased from Dixie Knight the following twelve mares: Nethersole. dam of Bulse; Claudia. Fair Empress, Wild Bess. Lydln II.. Vera cious. Busy Lass. Bessie Simpson. Crazy Quilt. Sweet Day. Ruby Nethersole and Lydia Flush. Six of these mares are to be mated with Luke McLuke and six to Sir John Johnson, the right of selection having been reserved by Mr. Knight of those to go to the court of Sir John Johnson. Mr. Keene has also leased Caler i and Ernatus from Mc-Brayer Moore and Lychc Nut and Clip Hook from Luke Combs. Foals reported today include a bay filly by Sweep — Reginalla. and a bay colt by Delhi— Oasis, at Wickliffe Stud: a bay filly bv T-nard — Syko at Belair Farm: a chestnut colt by Eyebrow — Sweet Marjorie at Glen Helen Stud: a bay filly imported in Bteroi by Radium — Badoara at Idle Hour Farm, and a bay lilly by Golden Maxim — Evelyn Davis at Wal-deck Farm.
