l I ; ; DIXIE MINA DEPRIVED OF HER VICTORY. F.l Paso. Texas. February 2li. — It was a feature less card that was decided at Juarez today, but most of the finishes were close and exciting. Several of the winners paid remunerative odds. R. S. Plunkett. owner of Grays Favorite, protested ; that Dixie Mina had claimed a ten pound 1 allowance, to which she was not entitled in tin-first race yesterday. The claim was admitted by the owner of Dixie Mina and the purse paid t- Graya Favorite. The judges had placed Wild lr!sh fourth and that home got third money. Paul Miles has transferred the services of the apprentice rider F. Graves to Kmil Hera and the lad leaves tomorrow for Now Orleans.
