AGON began slowly, but went around the leaders with a rush and w.-s tiring at the end. ASH CAN saved much ground on the turns and finished fast. RKY OAKWOOD had no mishaps. SPRINGMASS raced wide all the way. PATRICK S. pulled up lame. The winner was entered for ?400; no bid. Overweights — Springniass. 3 ]M unds. The latter made a game effort in the homestretch, but tired. I.ATANA closed up steadily while rounding the last turn, but swerved out through the homestretch. GOOD GRACIOIS was almost left. DEVIL FISH, a forward contender from the start, disposed of AHARA while rounding the far turn and drew away in the homestretch, hut had to lie ridden out at the finish. MENLO PARK was forced wide when slie made her move and was going fastest of the leaders at the finish. LITHKR began bolly and closed a big gait on the bickstretcli. but tired in the final drive. DAINGKRFIKLD tired after getting to the leaders in the homestretch. AHARA held the lead for a time on sufferance. The winner, entered for 00. was bid up to 05 and bought in. tverweights— Monmouth. KLlK T1I1STLK was sideways at the start and made up ground steadily into the lead and tired when challenged, but hung on gamely. FIGINNY ran fairly well and held STAR GAZE safe in the final eighth. KATHRYN GRAY was not persevered with.
