DEVIL FISH, a forward contender from the start, disposed of AHARA while rounding the far turn and drew away in the homestretch, hut had to lie ridden out at the finish. MENLO PARK was forced wide when slie made her move and was going fastest of the leaders at the finish. LITHKR began bolly and closed a big gait on the bickstretcli. but tired in the final drive. DAINGKRFIKLD tired after getting to the leaders in the homestretch. AHARA held the lead for a time on sufferance. The winner, entered for 00. was bid up to 05 and bought in. tverweights— Monmouth.
