BHL FOX began slowly and was outrun for the first quarter, then was taken to the outside when entering the homestretch and closed up with a rush. BLUE GRASS BELLE dropped back on the far turn and also moved up with a rush after entering the homestretch, but swerved to the inside in the last sixteenth. MAID OF FROME ran well and out gamed MONA G. The latter set the pace to the stretch and tired. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. UNCLE BRYN began slowly and was forced to race wide all the way and ran the l»est race of all. FAIR MONTAGUE closed a gap and tired after getting to the leaders in the last eighth. PHIL UNGAR closed a big gap. ACHIEVEMENT raced forwardly, but tired. KEWESSA quit after setting the early pace. RAINCOAT finished fast.
