The latter was saved in the early running and took the lend with ■ rush, but tired when challenged. CIIARMKCSK went up into the air at the start and closed a big gap between calls and hung on gamely under punishment. GOOD COlNSKL saved ground on all turns, but tired after getting to the leaders. AMHROSE set a good pare and tired at the end of live-eighths. CY MERRICK quit early. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Scratched 2024s Dr. Greater, 100. MCSTARI was saved under restraint until at the last quarter post, then took the lead with a rush and won easing up. WOODWARD raced gamely under pressure and outstayed GRASP for second place. The litter swerved, but showed speed and tired in the final eighth. DELAXCEY was crowded back after going a quarter and not persevered with afterwards. The entire field was under stout restraint in the early running and the race resolved itself into a sprint in the final half mile. The winm r was entered for ,500; no bid.
