DENIES SUGGESTED TIJUANA RECESS. James W. Coffroth. president of the Lower California Jockey Club, denies the announcement made at Reno tnat the Tijuana race meeting will sns-IMiid on June 25 for three weeks in order to let Nevada run through its dates from July 1 to 22. Coffroth states that the horsemen on the track do not want to leave and that the meeting will run rhjM on through without interruption. No date has Im-ch set as yel for the closing down, but a time will Im- set shortly, so that preparations can 1m- made for the opening of a big meeting in the fall.
