THINKS HIGHLY OF CAMDEN STALLION. New York, Julv 5. Senator J. N. Camden of Kentucky is about to receive two valuable thoroughbreds from England. One is the famous broodmare Double Dark, and the other is the good race horse and young sire Light Brigade., 0, by Picton, out of Bridge of Sighs, by Isinglass. Picton, the sire of Light Brigade, was by Orveto out necuba, by Isononiy. This is accounted one of the most valuable sires imported to this country since August Belmont brought over Rock Sand. He is particularly rich in winning top crosses, and his own racing career was a brilliant one. His sire, Picton, ran second to the great Spearmint in the English Derby, while he receives the priceless Isonomy strain through botli that great horse and his best son. Isinglass. A. J. .Toyner, who saw Light Brigade frequently in England, entertains an extremely high opinion of him, both as to breeding and individuality, aside from ids brilliant achievements on the turf. He says lie is a brown or dark bay horse over sixteen hands high, and cue that no horseman could help admiring.
