HANDFULL, after racing in closest pursuit for the first half, drew away into a long load and won in a canter. COL. GUTELIUS came through on the inside while rounding the far turn and easily disposed of TROUT FLY in the liist quarter. The latter tired and was poorly ridden. BONDAGE began slowly and was far back early, but moved up rapidly while rounding the last turn and, after being taken to the outside when entering the homestretch, closed up with a rush and got up to win in the final strides. MANOKIN saved ground on the stretch turn, but his weight told on him and he tired after disposing of SWIFT FOX. The latter was a close contender all the way. but tired after racing into the lead.
