Imis over her entered price of 00 after she won and was i-etained by her owner. Capt. W. P. Presgruve purchased the mare Ask Ma from Sam Louis this morning. She will be raced through the Canadian circuit, and next spring will be mated with Halhousie. A. It. Loudon, secretary or tin- Hamilton Jockov Club, was an arrival. Mr. l.udon reports that there are at present close to "00 horses at the Hamilton track, a number of which are jumpers. The steeplechase course is thrown open twice a week, so as to permit the steeplechasers to be schooled. John McLaughlin of Lexington, who is interested in the stable that J. H. linker is racing at Windsor, was an arrival from Kentucky this morning. Jockey Mott is making an effort to get a release from the contract that A. L. Austin holds on linn, and tho matter has been taken under advisement by the authorities. W. W. Harden was an arrival from Tennessee! this morning. His Tilly, Lady Ivan has been here for several days. She is entered in a couple of . stakes here.
