HAWTHORNES NEXT STAKE RACE NEAR. Many Speedy Horses Nominated to the- Chicago Merchants Handicap at Three-Quarters. Next Saturday the second stake race of the Hawthorne meeting will be decided. It is the Chicago Merchants Handicap, for three-year-olds and over at three-quarters of a mile, with ,100 added. With 0 entrance and 5 additional to start it is well worth winning.
